I believe cotton or a blend due to the age and feel. The beads, being faux, are a little harder to determine. They are not glass or stone. This connects together with an eye and hook closure, very simply. All of the faux pearls look perfect and I don't see any missing. There is tarnishing and shine missing from several of the rhinestones, including the tiny flower beads at the end. I have priced according to these flaws and I believe that the easiest way to fix these issues is by replacing them.
