There are some pleats right below the sash on the skirt portion of the dress I had to hand stitch to reinforce the existing thread that had been compromised. It's barely noticeable and I took great lengths of care to improve the dress. There is a pea sized hole on the bottom hem disguised in the floral pattern-hard to see. It does have a small black leather patch near left hand pocket,  but it adds character. Also has some slight cracking at the upper shoulder,  back side. See photos. Keeping it oiled in that area would help to extend its life. It could always be altered later to add a shoulder section , but should last a good amount of time as is.
