The tag lists it as a women's line called \"Gaymode.\" Sleeveless shift dress that zips up the front with side pockets - would have been intended at the time as a house dress or casual dress. Beautiful cotton paisley fabric with an unusual blue, pale yellow and orange pattern. The dress has orange cotton piping around the collar and on the edges of the pockets. There are also two ties made of the piping fabric that hang down the front and were likely intended to be tied. Slight fraying is visible to the edges of the pockets (see images) but otherwise the dress is in excellent condition. Unlined, with a sewn in yoke inside the neck and shoulders. The fabric where the zipper is sewn in does not have a finished hem so there is some fraying (see image). The hem is also hand stitched, so the owner may have shortened it. The shift cut fits loosely on the size 6-8 dress form.
