The pin back  is not long enough to be dated earlier than 30s to 50s at the newest. The pinback LOOKS like a trombone clasp at first but this is really a small tube that looks like a safety pin from the side! This is not a common type of pinback. You can see some of the finish is off on center of pin but the surface is smooth. CONDITION is evident when you see the back, just the usual wear. Many angles given so look closely.
