Features a mesh upper with lace sleeves and stripes. I also believe the top portion of the dress may not be original, as the mesh has some stretch to it, which was not common in 1930's dresses. There has also been a few spots with hand stitching, which would indicate repair or alteration. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThere is a hole in the mesh on the back right shoulder (see photo). Hole measures about 0.75\" in diameter. There are also tears in some of the lace, especially on the sleeves (see photo). There is a triangle shaped panel stitched in around the crotch area of the dress - I can not say for certain if this was intentional, or if it's a repair. The collar of the dress also has fading. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eEven though she has some issues, she is not in horrible shape for an almost 90 year old lady! The repairs can be fixed, or you can alter the top as you see fit. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eNo fabric tag, but feels to be possibly crepe?
