The fabric is ruched in the bust area and gathered at the bottom where it is sewn to the center panel.  \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAdjustable self fabric sash belts to tie in the back to adjust the fit.  \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ePulls on the head - fastens with three self fabric loops and buttons.  \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI'm 5'4\" and this comes to the middle of my calf.  It may be shorter or longer on you depending on your height.  \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI believe this was a work or chore dress of the late 1930s to early 1940s.  Perhaps this was originally worn as a domestic uniform of some sort.  \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIt is has some hand sewn alterations which I have left in place.  \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eUnlined.  No pockets.  \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eDESIGNER LABEL:  Only a small size tag remains.  \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eCONDITION:  Excellent with no odors, discoloration, stains, fading, snags, pulls, holes, or runs. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eGently worn and very well cared for.
