Sweet little cape with built in pockets on the front tabs.  There are no tags in this cape but I'm basing the age on the hat and muff that came with it.  The hat has a tag of Evans, Chicago which was an active hatmaker in the early 1950s.  That seems a reasonable age for both the muff and cape as well. This is actual, authentic lambswool, not faux synthetic.  The reason I know this is that there is one small tear on the right chest area where I can see the hide on the underside (see pictures).
