It had been repaired\/altered at some point, but needed TLC. I washed the dress to lift the color transfer stains, replaced the boning in the bodice w\/lightweight flat steel w\/dipped tips, repaired\/stabilized the two section at underarms, and lastly, finished the top edge of the bodice in black velvet to cover \u0026amp; stabilize the weakened \u0026amp; worn fabric there. Also comes w\/a matching silk fabric wrap\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe entire gown, all layers, consists of silk fabrics. The base skirt is a lightweight ivory fabric. Next we have a sheer, stiff silk organza, which is topped w\/a softer sheer silk fabric. This jungle leaf style print has been hand printed, w\/the edges of the flora shapes within the print top-stitched w\/a silk\/rayon bias trim in black. The strapless bodice is lightly structured, w\/seven pieces of thin boning (flat stainless steel w\/double dipped tips) \u0026amp; the flora pieces sort of drip off. The top of bodice is trimmed w\/black bias velvet ribbon \u0026amp; there is a nylon zipper \u0026amp; hook \u0026amp; eye closure at left side. No labels or maker's marks.
