The skirt is gathered and has two piped tiers, one at the hip and one near the hem. There is a hook at the top of the neck in back, followed by snaps to the waist and then closed with a black, metal Talon zipper. There is a canvas ribbed fabric at the waist for reinforcement. Unlined. Very well made. No flaws noted. Fabric is a synthetic - either acetate or rayon or a blend. No labels present. Was owned and worn by an expert seamstress who taught sewing and design.
