I place back of boot firm against the wall and place a tape or yard stick against all in center of boot. I measure from wall to toe tip. It is bet to compare find a like pair ( toe cut and heel height helps) place back o boot firm against wall and measure to center toe and than the widest part of sole. I also took measurement by placing tape at back of boot and running on the side to toe.
