It has an elastic band to keep in place. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIt looks to be barely if ever worn. In great condition. Maybe some surface dust and a bit of this and that picked up over the past 40 years being stored but nothing a good lint brush wont take care of. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eDeep red with cool black Lucite decor. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI do not own a proper hat measurement tool they are super expensive but I do my best to offer an approximate measurement by measuring across hat and also using this arm body fat measurement tape. Soft crown hats are a bit difficult because there is so much movement in material but this is very close.
