Some of the machine stitching is also a little wonky, also shown in images. There is a spot on the front where the fabric wasn't fully stitched into the waistband correctly so it looks frayed. The skirt had original price tags from a store called Gee Bee.  The tag lists it as a Large but it's closer to a contemporary Medium, in particular because of the waist size. The waist is elastic, so it can fit a waist size of 24\" and higher. 24\" is the circumference when the elastic is not stretched at all. It's a wide circle skirt cut, so the hips can accommodate up to 60\".
