It is so shiny and has two very small dents, that don't stand out (see photos).  The chain is still attached to the cap. There are many scratches but with the lack of noticeable dents and the sheen, the scratches don't get in the way of the whole package.  It's really a beautiful display piece. This would be great for travel, camping and fishing trips or even for display. The stamp is on both sides. It's about 9. 5\" tall, 8\" wide and 2\".
