An advertisement in the May 1962 edition of Suburban Life magazine described the Mall at Short Hills as the Fifth Avenue of the suburbs.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e- lingerie holders with snaps inside at the shoulders\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e- white piping trims the neckline and armholes\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e- two decorative slit pockets with oriental frog button and loops\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e- boat neck \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e- sleeveless\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e- long fitting darts on back bodice \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e- rear metal zipper \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e- self fabric cord belt\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e- side slits\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e- unlined\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e- seams are finished with stitching\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e- label - Joan Ruth Shops - The Mall at Short Hills\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e- condition - Wonderful.  No issues noted. The dress has been neatly shortened at some time. It originally had side slits. The hem could be let down and the slits would be there. The decorative buttons have tiny wires in them to keep them stiff.
