This bold ribbon detailing climbs up either side and hangs with long tails that are to be tied at the chin. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe interior of the hat is lined in black mercerized cotton. The intended fit is as shown, at the back rear crown of the head with the ruffles onto at the hairline. The ribbon ties at the chin but hair or hat pins may also be used at your discretion to further secure. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eCondition is listed as very good plus to near excellent, particularly with regard to age.  100% wearable and sturdy. I note some minor velvet edge wear to the very outer edge of the front of the bonnet. The silk piping shows some age and wear, this is the least significant embellishment and this notation is hardly visible without close inspection.
