Circa 1840s, it is a two piece dress, bodice and skirt. It is a very lightweight silk taffeta in a lovely champagne color with slightly darker stripes.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe bodice is lined and boned in the front with hook and eye closures down the back. The skirt is unlined with hook and eye closures on the side. There is a single, deep pocket.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThere are small hooks and eyes at each cuff.
